Ottawa, ON – While the two year racial profiling study won’t officially begin until April, 2013, the police service will be asking for your opinions starting in January.
An online questionnaire and online forum will be available, and a public forum will be held early in the new year.
The two year study will track the race of people pulled over by Ottawa Police.
The $400,000 study was ordered by the Ontario Human Rights Commission after a complaint was made, accusing the police department of racial profiling.
