OTTAWA,Ont. — The province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has been called in after a man fell to his death in Britannia Heights Thursday.

Police were called to 2651 Regina Street, an apartment building near Lincoln Heights Galleria at about 9:15 p.m., where they spoke with a man in a 12th floor apartment. About 20 minutes after they arrived, the man fell from a window.

The agency is asking anyone with information to please call them.  The SIU is called in whenever there has been death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault involving police.
