GATINEAU, QC – National Capital Commission officials are both welcoming and warning visitors to Gatineau Park.

The NCC said the Cross-country ski season in the park starts on Saturday, but heavy snow has overloaded tree branches in the park, and there is a risk of falling branches or even falling trees.

Users are advised to excercise caution and stay on the parkways.

Gatineau Park boasts more than 250 kilometres of trails about 15 minutes from Parliament Hill.
