OTTAWA, Ont. – Country, rock, hip hop, electronic, and the blues; there’s something for all music fans on the long list of performers for this year’s RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest.

Obvious headliners include Rush, The Dixie Chicks, B.B. King, Weezer, Wu Tang Clan, and the Tragically Hip. The show will also include Tegan and Sara, Kenny Wayne Shepard, fun., Los Lonely Boys, Stars, Belle & Sebastian and Hunter Hayes.

While last year’s festival focused mostly on the electronica, this year seems to take a little country and blues, mix it with some rock n roll, with a twist of the electronica and you have “Take Me to the River”, this year’s theme.

There are still two headline acts to be named along with a number of other performers. Bluesfest runs from July 4 to 14 at LeBreton Flats.

Tickets go on sale through Capital Tickets on Thursday, February 28 at 10 a.m.
