OTTAWA — A cyclist has now been charged with running a red light after a downtown crash that was caught on camera.
The cyclist was struck at the intersection of Lyon and Laurier, Saturday afternoon.
Dashcam footage shows a car in the left lane narrowly missing the cyclist, before the cyclist was hit by another car in the far right lane.
The cyclist flies in the air, but then gets up moments later — reportedly suffering a sore hip.
A police officer apparently witnessed the crash.
