OTTAWA -Foul play is not suspected in the discovery of a body Tuesday morning in the Ottawa River.
Police and the Coroner continue to investigate.
A police spokesperson says the final determination will come from the Coroner’s office, but it appears the death is not suspicious.
No other information on age or gender has been released.
Fire crews were called for a water rescue Tuesday morning before 9:30, after a passerby spotted someone in the water behind 24 Sussex Drive, the official residence of the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister and his family are currently living at Rideau Cottage, on the grounds of Rideau Hall, while the official residence is being renovated.
