GATINEAU, Que. — Police are asking for help to find the vehicle that struck a cyclist and fled the scene in a collision this past July.
The cyclist was struck around 2:15 a.m. on July 11, on Maloney Boulevard between Balsam and Elm streets.
Officers found several car parts scattered around the scene of the collision, including the contour of a fog lamp, a small piece of silver plastic, some rivets and a window washer pump.
Police think the vehicle’s passenger side hit the cyclist, and that its washer fluid reservoir was probably also damaged in the collision.
Anyone with information on the vehicle or its driver is asked to contact Gatineau police at 819 243-INFO (4636), extension 5.
