OTTAWA – Hunt Club Road has some of the most dangerous intersections in the city.
According to a City of Ottawa report, there are three intersections along that stretch that top the list of most dangerous intersections for 2016 — at Prince of Wales Drive, Riverside Drive and Woodroffe Avenue.
A fourth intersection, at Hawthorne Road, also cracks the top ten.
The report also finds motorists are two times more likely to be involved in a crash during the afternoon drive home, rather than the morning commute.
Also, two thirds of crashes happen when the roads are dry, 19 per cent happen when the roads are snow or ice-covered and 16 per cent happen when roads are wet.
The report also found Thursday has the highest volume of collisions.
