CALABOGIE – Shooters Bar and Grill won’t be appealing a suspension of its liquor license.

Back in October, the Calabogie establishment had its license suspended over a number of infractions, including selling alcohol to minors.

The suspension followed a deadly crash near Burnstown. Just after midnight on October 27, provincial police responded to a single vehicle crash on Calabogie Road.

Two 18-year-old members of the CCHL’s Renfrew Timberwolves, Alex Paquette and Brandon Hanniman, were killed.

Police have said alcohol was a factor.

The bar had its liquor license suspended three days after that crash.
