OTTAWA–Robbery Unit investigators are looking for a suspect in an early December robbery of a cab driver.
Around 3 o’clock on the morning of December 3, 2017, Ottawa Police say three people got into a taxi at a pub on Meadowlands Drive.
As they approached their destination, the passengers were changing their minds about where they wanted to go.
The cab driver became suspicious, and pulled over to collect the fare owed.
Two passengers in the rear of the taxi got out, but the front seat passenger threatened the to shoot cabbie, ripped the debit machine from the dash, and took some cash from the driver.
The thief was seen going into a gas station near Baseline Road and Clyde Avenue.
