OTTAWA – “Neighbour to Neighbour.”
The community responded to help, after the tires on the Parkdale Food Centre’s Reverse Food Truck were slashed.
The truck is used to collect food — both donations and purchases of fresh produce — and deliver it to the centre’s clients. All four of the truck’s tires were found slashed on Tuesday morning.
The food centre reported towing and repairs would cost money that was otherwise budgeted for food, and asked for donations to help cover the costs.
