OTTAWA – A heads up for drivers in the downtown core.
Starting Monday, O’Connor Street will be closed between Laurier Avenue and Somerset Street for five weeks for the reconstruction of manholes on the west side of the street.
The work is taking place at the intersections of Gloucester Street, Nepean Street, Lisgar Street, and Cooper Street.
Cyclists and pedestrians will have access to the street during the closures, but intermittent sidewalk closures on the west side of the road are to be expected.
There will also be signs set up for detours.
