OTTAWA – A retired judge is pushing for an inquiry into the Central Experimental Farm land being used as the relocation site for the Civic Hospital campus.

Monique Metivier tells Postmedia there are big gaps in what has been disclosed to the public, and an inquiry would answer some pressing questions.

She joins a list of people involved in a grassroots organization called Reimagine Ottawa, who says the’re interested in freeing the city from developer funded politics and planning.

This group’s push follows a long, drawn out, controversial site selection for the Civic Hospital campus.

Rezoning applications for the use of the Experimental Farm site have been sent to City Hall to pave the way for the use of that land.
