OTTAWA — The all-clear has been given at four radio stations, which were among a number of buildings evacuated in south Ottawa due to gas-like odours.

A natural gas-like smell started entering the studios of 1310 NEWS as well as Country 101.1, KiSS 105.3 and 106.1 CHEZ, around 8:20 a.m. Tuesday. The building was evacuated safely, and staff waited in the parking lot until the all-clear was given just before 9:30 a.m.

Ottawa Fire says it has been responding to locations on Thurston Drive, St-Laurent Boulevard and Stevenage Drive for gas-like odours, but say there is no emergency.

No injuries have been reported.

Enbridge is investigating the odours at 1310 NEWS. A specific cause has not yet been determined.
