About the Race:

As many of you know The Give 2 Live campaign was partnered with DeFrancos Lung run since we started in 2013. We were saddened to hear that the campaign is now coming to an end and the Toronto General Hospital has decided to go in another direction. Hélène is taking this opportunity to do things that she has wanted to do for some time now, she wants to travel and continue her education, we could not be happier for her!

We cannot say enough about Hélène’s ongoing ability to bring joy to everyone that she comes in contact with. She has been such an inspiration and the reason that we started the DeFrancos lung run in the first place. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you have truly changed our lives and for that we are forever grateful! Continue to fill people with happiness, and go fulfill your dreams! We hope to see you at this year’s run!
We are so excited to share with you the news of our new partners; The Lung Association. In our search for a new partner we knew that we wanted to continue supporting families with respiratory and lung issues. When we met with Melanie and Chantal from The Lung Association there was an instant connection, both sides were beyond excited for this new chapter. We can’t wait to continue this relationship for many years to come.

We are excited for our 4th annual DeFrancos Lung Run and can’t wait to see you all there!

Back in Ottawa by popular demand after a sold out show in 2015, Roger Hodgson, one of the most gifted composers and lyricists of our time, co-founded the progressive rock band, Supertramp, in 1969 is returning to Ottawa!  Roger was the driving force behind what fans call the “golden years” of the band that made Supertramp a worldwide phenomenon with album sales in excess of 60 million. He wrote, sang, and arranged such enduring rock standards as “Breakfast in America,” “Give a Little Bit,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “The Logical Song,” “Dreamer,” “It’s Raining Again,” “School,”  and “Fool’s Overture.”

Uniting generations, Hodgson transports baby boomers back to their youth while giving younger concertgoers a taste of why his heartfelt songs have endured. In Canada, sales for Crime of the Century and Breakfast in America reached Diamond status; one in every 15 Canadians owned both these albums!
