BROCKVILLE, ON – This is your last chance to see a massive rubber duck that has been making its way around Ontario.

It is on the waterfront in Brockville this weekend, where it will be on land.

Manager of Strategic Initiatives at the town Leslie White tells 1310 NEWS, “We are on the St. Lawerence River and we’re very close to the international shipping channel, so we have lots of lakers going by our beautiful city that give quite a wake, and water levels are very high this summer.”

She says rough water conditions would force the duck to be deflated in order to prevent the wind from carrying it away, and that is the last thing the organizers want.

The provincial government spent $200,000 to bring the six-story tall duck to six Ontario ports this summer.
