OTTAWA — Basil Borutski will spend the rest of his life in prison.

The 60-year-old will not have a chance for parole in 70 years, as a judge decided Wednesday that he will serve two life sentences consecutively followed by at least 20 years for second degree murder.

Borutski was found guilty on two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of Nathalie Warmerdam and Anastasia Kuzyk, and one count of second degree murder in the death of Carol Culleton, back on November 24.

All three women were killed in an hour-long rampage in the Upper Ottawa Valley on the morning of September 22, 2015.
