OTTAWA – Heavy snowfall is expected in the capital region, starting late Monday.
Environment Canada is issuing a weather statement, saying about eight to 12 cm of snow associated with an Alberta Clipper is expected to begin Monday night and taper off Tuesday night.
The agency adds, although slightly higher amounts are possible in some areas, snowfall warnings are not expected.
Environment Canada will continue to monitor this situation and update statements accordingly.
