A Chelsea doctor who practiced family medicine at a University of Ottawa Health Services clinic faces ten new charges of sexual assault.
Ottawa Police announced the charges Wednesday, saying they are related to ten female victims.
Vincent Nadon, 56, was charged in January with sex assault and voyeurism on a complaint from a woman in her 20’s.
The woman alleges she was at the University of Ottawa Health Services clinic on Rideau Street for an appointment where she became suspicious that she was being filmed during her medical exam without her consent.
Nadon appeared in court for a short time Wednesday, and according to the Ottawa Citizen, was released to his wife and brother.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario tells the paper, Nadon is being investigated by the licensing and disciplinary body, and the new charges will be added to his public profile and the college’s register.
His next court date is set for March 14.
