15 members of Hydro Ottawa are headed to New York State, to help re-connect people who have lost power during a big winter storm that is battering the northeast coast of the United States.

Wet, heavy snow has sent tree limbs crashing down, leaving more than 150,000 customers without power, and closing schools across upstate New York.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a travel advisory for all areas north of New York City, requesting limited travel due to dangerous driving conditions throughout the state.
