What's open and closed for Family Day?

OTTAWA – Family Day is this Monday and that means a number of closures and schedule adjustments.


-most grocery stores
-LCBO and The Beer Store locations
-most malls (exception: Rideau Centre: open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
-City of Ottawa offices


-Rideau Centre
-most museums
-Sens Rink of Dreams (Ottawa City Hall)
-Skating Court (Lansdowne Park)
-Ben Franklin Place Skating Rink (Centrepointe Drive)

Schedule changes:

OC Transpo is operating a reduced weekday schedule

There will be no garbage/green bin/recycling pickup on Monday; pick up is delayed one day the rest of the week.

All City of Ottawa parking regulations and restrictions apply on Family Day.
